We Want Revival, but Are We Seeking God's Face?
When most people think of seeking God’s face, they think of praying to God, which we should faithfully do, as discussed on last week’s podcast. But what we do during our prayers to God is extremely important. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God instructed the Israelites to seek His face. So, in today’s episode, we will discover what it means to seek God’s face and why this is so crucial to God’s healing and restoration in our lives and the world. As I prayerfully sought God for today’s episode, I believe He revealed the following truths, which we will explore together. To seek His face is to do the following:
- Worship and honor Him for who He is.
- Ask Him how we can bless Him by doing His will.
- Inquire of Him in our decision-making.
- Live righteously.
